As a judge, the submissions people put forward showing their experience in female leadership and running teams were absolutely fantastic. I would highly recommend entering these awards. Doing things like this really makes people feel empowered in the workplace, particularly for females. We need to keep doing this, we need to make women aware of the opportunities out there in Ireland.

The diversity that women bring, the opportunity that we have within our male peers, we just bring something different to the table. You can see that here tonight in everyone who has accepted an award — it comes from a vast and diverse range of experience.

I was just speaking with all the women on stage and to be honest, I didn't think I was in the running at all because I really didn't expect that this calibre of women, I would even come close to. It's been great to meet all the other women and to come to the awards and see all the other companies that are so pro-women in finance. It's been a brilliant day.
